We’re looking for either a Senior or a Principal level Mechanical Engineer to join their growing Building Services team. This is an opportunity to work on genuinely interesting projects, alongside civil, structural, transport, sustainability, environmental and other built-environment specialists – giving you the chance to think beyond your own discipline and see the bigger picture.
What will you be doing?
- You’ll be involved in the design and delivery of Mechanical Building Services across a diverse range of projects and sectors that focus heavily on Heritage projects.
- Mechanical building services design from concept through to delivery.
- Lead project coordination and client interface.
- HVAC, and Low-Carbon building systems.
- New-Build and Retrofit projects (Heritage focus).
- Workplace, Hospitality and Mixed-Use developments.
- Sustainable and energy-efficient design solutions.
- Coordinating your designs with architects, structural engineers and other consultants.
- Developing designs through the RIBA stages.
- Supporting engineers and contributing to the wider team.

Who are we looking for?
- A degree or qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Experience within a building services consultancy environment.
- Good knowledge of Mechanical Building Services Design.
- An understanding of relevant UK standards and regulations.
- Experience using appropriate design and engineering software.
- The ability to communicate effectively with clients and other members of a project team.
- A genuine interest in sustainable and low-carbon engineering.
