Engineering Surveyor

Talent Motion specialise in transitioning experienced M&E Design Engineers from traditional M&E consultancy Client-Side within Building Consultancy. Essentially, a client-side role that will give you direct access to clients, working on the client’s behalf as part of the client team as the client’s representative. With a 20 strong M&E team, the business focuses on all aspects of M&E Surveying, Client Technical Advisory, M&E Design, Project Management & Decarbonisation. Role Overview

Undertaking surveying roles across numerous different sectors and establishments across the UK. The role involves visual assessment of Mechanical & Electrical element condition, to be captured via a tablet application or into a report template.

Role Responsibilities

• Delivery of Mechanical and Electrical condition data capture surveys.
• To support business objectives of delivering value for money in all circumstances.
• To carry out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and procedures.
• Comply with established commercial/procurement/contractual strategies.
• Take personal responsibility for complying with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards.
• Individually or as part of a team operate processes for the selection, appointment and management of construction and engineering contractors.
• Undertake pre-survey meetings with client representatives.
• Building Stock Condition Surveys.
• Populate the asset management system via tablet technology with data relating to the condition of the stock and surrounding areas along with other legislative requirements.
• Advising and liaising with internal project and cost control team.
• Developing Commercial Strategies.
• Developing Acquisition Strategies.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual who has extensive experience and expertise in producing M&E reports and is proficient in identifying M&E Assets/Systems providing support to the existing team in the delivery of various projects and stock condition surveys.
