Home-based | Birmingham or within approximately 30 miles £38,000£45,000 depending on experience Overtime and on-call work paid at 1.5x hourly rate Company van, laptop and mobile phone provided Talent Media is recruiting exclusively on behalf of a global engineering and technology business specialising in advanced gas and flame detection systems used within safety-critical environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a small, established team supporting customers across the UK.

Ideally, you will already have experience working with gas detection equipment.

However, our client will also consider engineers from fire alarm, security alarm or similar electrical and electronic systems backgrounds, provided you have strong testing, controls and fault-finding experience.

THE OPPORTUNITY This is a home-based field role offering considerable autonomy over your diary, workload and customer visits.

You will join a team of three other Field Service Engineers and report directly to the Fixed Systems Service Manager.

From your home base, you will travel to customer locations throughout the UK to service, test, repair and commission fixed gas detection equipment and associated control systems.
