Location: Northwich, Cheshire

Salary: Up to £43,000

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:00am-5:00pm | Friday, 8:00am-3:00pm

Working Pattern: Site-based preferred, with hybrid working considered and occasional office attendance around once every two weeks.

Talent Media is working in partnership with a well-established, family-run manufacturing and construction business operating across the structural steel, industrial and agricultural sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TEKLA Draughtsperson to join a forward-thinking business with a clear growth strategy. You will be part of a growing drawing office team, supporting a variety of structural steel projects across industrial and agricultural markets.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Review Structural Engineer drawings
  • Create 3D models using Tekla
  • Liaise with other members of the company
  • Carry out assignments using AutoCAD and Tekla
  • Provide TEKLA modelling from client drawings
  • Produce fabrication and fitting drawings
  • Support projects from design through to delivery
  • Apply strong time and project management skills
  • Work with colleagues and customers to achieve final results on technical matters
  • Maintain a high standard of work under pressure
Person Specification
  • Minimum 2 years Tekla experience essential
  • Strong working knowledge of the structural steel industry desirable
  • Substantial relevant and proven experience essential
  • Education or training related to civil engineering desirable
