Talent Media is delighted to be working in partnership with our client, a leading high-precision manufacturing business operating within the defence and aerospace sectors.
We are seeking skilled CNC Operators to join a growing team within an advanced precision engineering environment based in Basildon. You will be responsible for manufacturing high-precision components using predominantly 4 and 5-axis milling and turn/mill CNC machines, alongside general machining duties.
CNC Operator Key Responsibilities- Setting and operating various multi-axis CNC machines
- Inspecting parts using CMM and other inspection equipment to ensure compliance with engineering drawings
- Maintaining accurate logs of production issues, machine adjustments and repairs
- Maximising machine uptime through preventative maintenance (TPM)
- Supporting production requirements with flexibility
- High attention to detail with a commitment to producing tight tolerance, high-quality components
- Experience working to closely controlled specifications, ideally within defence or aerospace environments
- Experience working to high quality standards on precision components
- Knowledge of manufacturing regulations and safety procedures
Full-time, permanent contract ~37 hours per week, 3-shift rotation (Monday to Friday) ~ Competitive rate plus shift allowance ~ Company benefits including pension, life insurance, private medical healthcare, prescription protection eyewear and employee retail discounts ~33 days holiday per year, including Christmas shutdown.
