Talent Media are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading high-precision manufacturing business within the advanced engineering sector, as they look to appoint a Deburr Operator to join their team at their Glasgow facility.
Our client provides specialist precision-engineered components to a range of demanding industries, operating to exceptionally high-quality standards. This role is responsible for the finishing and preparing metal components, removing burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections using a range of hand and power tools, ensuring parts meet strict quality standards prior to final assembly or dispatch. No previous deburring experience is required; full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect parts for burrs, sharp edges, and surface defects
- Operate deburring tools including hand files, sanders, grinders, and rotary tools
- Follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards
- Use microscopes or magnifiers where required for precision work
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Collaborative and flexible approach to teamwork
- Ability to support colleagues and wider departments when required
- Professional and respectful in all interactions
- Strong time management and organisation
- Problem-solving mindset within role scope

- Disciplined approach to schedules and documentation
- Educated to standard grade level (or equivalent)

- 37 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm
- Friday: 6:00 am - 1:30 pm
