Shift Pattern
- Dayshift: Monday - Thursday: 07:00 - 15:15, Friday: 07:00 - 13:30
- Backshift: Monday - Thursday: 15:00 - 23:15, Friday: 13:15 - 19:45
The Role
- Diagnose and repair faults on electronic equipment and assemblies.
- Carry out component-level repairs and modifications.
- Test and inspect products to strict quality standards.
- Use equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies and other electronic test equipment.
- Complete repair and inspection documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, testing and procedures.
- Support continuous improvement activities across the repair facility.
- Work closely with experienced engineers and technicians to further develop your technical capability.
What We're Looking For
We're far more interested in your technical ability, attitude and willingness to learn than direct aerospace experience. You'll likely have experience in some of the following:
- Electronics repair
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- PCB assembly, testing or repair
- Soldering and inspection
- Reading schematics and technical drawings
- Electronic testing and inspection
- Using oscilloscopes, multimeters and power supplies
- Hands-on repair of electronic products or assemblies
Ideally you'll also have:
- HNC/HND in Electronics or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- IPC soldering or inspection experience
- Experience within electronics manufacturing, aerospace, defence, industrial electronics, telecommunications or medical device environments
