CNC Operator - Basildon Permanent | 37 hours per week | Up to £50k per annum + (including shift allowance) Talent Media is delighted to be working in partnership with our client, a leading high-precision manufacturing business operating within the defence and aerospace sectors. We are seeking skilled CNC Operators to join a growing team within an advanced precision engineering environment based in Basildon. You will be responsible for manufacturing high-precision components using predominantly 4 and 5- and 5-axis milling and turn/mill CNC machines, alongside general machining duties. CNC Operator Key Responsibilities Setting and operating various multi-axis CNC machines Inspecting parts using CMM and other inspection equipment to ensure compliance with engineering drawings Following company procedures, operating standards and safety guidelines Maintaining accurate logs of production issues, machine adjustments and repairs Maximising machine uptime through preventative maintenance (TPM) Maintaining a strong safety focus when working around operational machinery Supporting production requirements with flexibility Working collaboratively with other team members Skills
