Talent Media is delighted to be working in partnership with our client, a leading high-precision manufacturing business operating within the defence and aerospace sectors. We are seeking skilled CNC Operators to join a growing team within an advanced precision engineering environment based in Basildon.

You will be responsible for manufacturing high-precision components using predominantly 4 and 5-axis milling and turn/mill CNC machines, alongside general machining duties.

CNC Operator Key Responsibilities
  • Setting and operating various multi-axis CNC machines
  • Inspecting parts using CMM and other inspection equipment to ensure compliance with engineering drawings
  • Following company procedures, operating standards and safety guidelines
  • Maintaining accurate logs of production issues, machine adjustments and repairs
  • Maximising machine uptime through preventative maintenance (TPM)
  • Maintaining a strong safety focus when working around operational machinery
  • Supporting production requirements with flexibility
  • Working collaboratively with other team members
Skills & Behaviours
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to producing tight tolerance, high-quality components
  • Experience working to closely controlled specifications, ideally within defence or aerospace environments
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Time served and/or demonstrable relevant experience
