National Account Manager We are representing a fast-growing, product-led organisation seeking a commercially driven National Account Manager to strengthen its retail partnerships and accelerate new business growth. This role is ideal for a relationship-led commercial professional who excels at identifying opportunities, developing tailored solutions, and delivering consistent, measurable results. You will act as a key interface between retail customers and the company\’s internal sourcing, marketing and supply chain functions — ensuring every solution reflects the organisation\’s reputation for quality, value and market expertise. Account Management Manage and grow existing retail accounts, driving satisfaction, loyalty and commercial performance. Analyse account performance and implement growth strategies to maximise revenue and margin. Identify and secure new business opportunities within the UK retail market. Build and maintain a strong pipeline through networking, research and proactive outreach. Deliver compelling value propositions and manage the full sales process from pitch to close. Lead strategic business development initiatives to expand the company\’s footprint across key retail channels. Sales & Performance Consistently achieve or exceed agreed sales targets across both existing and new accounts. Work cross-functionally to ensure customer projects are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to commercial expectations. Communicate market intelligence and customer feedback to help shape future product and service offerings. Proven experience in national account management, ideally within FMCG, retail or closely related consumer goods sectors. Demonstrated success in new business development and delivering sustained sales growth. Highly commercial, self-motivated and driven by results. Competent user of CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint). Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally for client meetings. Experience partnering directly with retail or wholesale customers. Understanding of retail trends, category dynamics and competitor landscape. Relevant qualifications in business, sales or marketing (advantageous but not essential). Competitive base salary with car allowance and performance incentives.
