About the Role

At Talent Magpie, we are proud to be working with one of Europe's most ambitious and globally recognised sports clubs to recruit a commercially minded Partnership Manager. This is a pivotal role focused on driving the club's partnership acquisition and retention strategy — blending sales, relationship management, and strategic activation.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing existing commercial partners and identifying new sponsorship and licensing opportunities across regional and global markets. Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Maintain and grow relationships with current commercial and sponsorship partners. Deliver against KPIs, ROI, and activation targets.
  • New Business Development: Identify, approach, and secure new partnership opportunities in line with the club's brand, values, and strategic goals.
  • Activation & Delivery: Oversee partnership activation campaigns, ensuring timely execution and maximum brand engagement across all club platforms (matchday, digital, experiential).
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to shape long-term partnership strategies. Provide market intelligence, benchmarking, and competitor insights.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with marketing, digital, and events teams to integrate partner messaging and enhance overall fan engagement.
  • Reporting & Insights: Deliver regular performance reports to internal and external stakeholders. Recommend improvements and ensure high partner satisfaction.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 5+ years in partnership management, commercial sponsorship, or business development, ideally in sports, entertainment, or related sectors.
  • Skills: Proven track record in securing and activating B2B partnerships. Strong presentation and negotiation skills. Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus. Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills. Deep understanding of brand alignment and audience engagement.
  • Mindset: Driven, innovative, adaptable, and fan-focused. Comfortable working under pressure and handling multiple stakeholders.
