About the role & person
The purpose of this role is to establish and develop the client in the Kitchen Retail Channel, across all product categories. This channel is reasonably new to the client, so you will be responsible for identifying target retailers through the National and Independent Kitchen Channel, creating a successful launch plan and leading this channel.
They are at a very exciting phase of our development, and successful development of the Retail Channel is extremely important to our UK and global ambitions.
The successful candidate should be extremely optimistic, creative and self-motivated, looking to work with our internal and external partners in a very collaborative way to drive growth and mutually viable partnerships.
Main Duties
- Working with our existing retail and kitchen partners to grow the share of sales in their business.
- Identify new partners, both independent and National Kitchen, to partner with and establish the brand in their showrooms
- Create a network of brand ambassadors, through in showroom activities and support, including but not limited to designer training, showroom events and trade shows
- Work closely with the product management team on range selection and product forecasting
- Work with partners to drive brand awareness through brand marketing campaigns and activity
- Broaden the business opportunities by investigating and developing, as appropriate, all options for route to market.
- Work within the Budgets allocated to give an agreed ROI.
Key Skills
- Previous experience working with the UK Kitchen channel is required.
- Demonstrate an optimistic and creative mentality
- Able to demonstrate excellent numeracy and analytical skills
- Ability to maintain relationships at all levels within the business and our customer base
- Excellent PC skills with good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
- Proven ability to exceed sales and profitability targets
- Full UK Driving Licence required
