The Sales & Marketing Lead will be responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling the company’s commercial strategy to support sustained growth. This role oversees sales strategy development, demand forecasting, pipeline management, and performance analysis, with a strong focus on expanding market presence across key channels.
The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, capable of translating high-level objectives into actionable plans while working closely with internal teams and external partners. Strong collaboration, leadership, and analytical skills are essential to drive revenue growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Strategy & Performance
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Own sales forecasting, pipeline reporting, and revenue tracking to ensure accuracy and visibility.
- Monitor sales performance against targets, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive activity to inform decision-making.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, manage, and coach the sales team to achieve individual and collective performance goals.
- Establish clear KPIs, incentives, and accountability structures.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training to build a high-performing sales organization.
- Foster a results-driven, collaborative, and customer-focused team culture.
- Marketing & Growth Planning
- Partner with marketing stakeholders to develop and execute annual sales and marketing plans.
- Contribute to brand positioning, pricing strategy, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Support promotional planning and channel-specific activation strategies.
- Ensure alignment between sales execution and marketing campaigns.
- Channel & Partner Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external distributors, wholesalers, and partners.
- Coordinate closely with internal cross-functional teams to ensure consistent execution.
- Support expansion into new accounts, territories, and distribution channels.
- Optimize route-to-market strategies to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Business Development
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to support short- and long-term growth.
- Lead negotiations and support contract development where required.
- Demonstrated success in technical or solution-based sales environments.
- Prior experience within a consumer goods, beverage, or related industry preferred.
- Proven ability to manage sales forecasting, pipelines, and performance reporting.
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
