Position: Electrical Maintenance Engineer Work Location: * Field-based: South London, Central London Salary & Benefits: * Guaranteed Take-home Pay: £48230 (includes £42,230.00 salary, £4000 working in London allowance paid monthly, £1,300 shift allowance and an additional £2,000 paid in £500 increments every 3 months January, April, July, October). * Average Earnings: Around £60000 with on-call & overtime, although plenty of opportunities to earn substantially more. * Company Vehicle: New automatic van, personal use, paid fuel. * Holiday Allowance: 25 + 8 days. * Benefits: Pension, Life Insurance, BUPA coverage. * Mobile and Tablet: Company-provided. Responsibilities: * Electrical and mechanical maintenance, breakdowns, repairs, installations. * Work on various customer sites: pubs, stadiums, airports, hospitals, hotels, universities, etc. Qualifications & Skills: * Electrical background. * Experience: wiring, fault finding, planned preventative maintenance. * Relevant qualifications: either electrical apprenticeships, NVQ level 3 Electrical, 17th or 18th editions. We will also consider those with relevant experience. * Mechanical fitter with electrical experience considered. Training: * 3 months full training provided initially, with continued training over the next two years. Working Hours: * Standard Week: 8 am – 5 pm, Mon to Fri. * Overtime: All additional hours paid at time and a half and double rates of pay. * On-call Rotation: Starts after 3 months of training. * On-call Pay Rates: Fri 5 pm – 7 pm (1.5X), Sat 8 am – 5 pm (1.5X), Sun 8 am – 5 pm (Double time). Bank holiday (x2) all OT Paid door to door. Additional Info: * All on-call work paid at overtime rates. * After 3 months, engineers go on a call rota, on-call weekends every three weeks.
