Are you an experienced analytics consultant ready to lead the delivery of advanced analytics and business intelligence solutions for major UK organisations? This role blends hands-on technical expertise with consulting leadership. You'll work closely with clients to turn complex business challenges into scalable, cloud-based data solutions, while leading teams and ensuring high-quality project delivery.
Responsibilities include:
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients on data engineering and advanced analytics best practices
- Lead end-to-end analytics engagements, from discovery and requirements through to delivery
- Design and implement scalable, cloud-based data platforms and BI solutions
- Build intuitive dashboards and reporting solutions (Power BI or similar)
- Develop and oversee data models, transformations, and ETL/ELT pipelines
- Architect robust, scalable data solutions aligned to business needs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure outcomes deliver real business value
- Mentor and support team members, contributing to successful project execution
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience delivering cloud-based analytics and data engineering solutions
- Strong background in a client-facing consulting environment (consultancy or SI preferred)
- Demonstrated experience leading teams or managing analytics project delivery
- Advanced skills in Python and SQL
- Hands-on experience with data integration tools (e.g. Azure Data Factory)
- Familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g. Microsoft Fabric, Databricks)
- Strong data visualisation experience (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, etc.)
- Deep understanding of data modelling, warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes
- Exposure to Big Data, Data Science, AI, or Machine Learning is a plus
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
