Do you enjoy owning the technical delivery of complex ERP solutions and working directly with clients to shape how systems support real business operations? You would play a key role in delivering end to end Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central software solutions across a varied client base, ranging from SMEs through to large multinational organisations. This is a position where technical depth matters, but so does the ability to engage with stakeholders, translate business requirements, and guide projects through design, build and implementation.
You will take ownership of solution design and development, ensuring high quality delivery while setting strong technical standards across the team. Alongside hands on development, there is also the opportunity to mentor junior developers and influence best practice across the wider development function.
What you will be doing:
- Designing, developing and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC / NAV) solutions
- Working closely with clients to understand business processes and translate requirements into technical solutions
- Developing extensions using AL and delivering robust customisations within Business Central
- Building integrations between Business Central and external platforms using APIs, web services and third party connectors
- Producing clear technical documentation and solution design
- Providing technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers
- Contributing to development standards and staying current with emerging Microsoft technologies
Experience:
- Strong experience developing in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central (D365 BC)
- Commercial experience building AL extensions for Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Deep knowledge of configuration, customisation and integration capabilities within Business Central
- Solid functional understanding across Business Central modules
- Exposure to Azure services is beneficial but not essential
