Shape the Future of Enterprise AI

Most organisations are still talking about AI. This consultancy is delivering it. We're looking for an AI Architect who can bridge the gap between possibility and production, someone who understands that successful AI isn't just about the latest model, but about building secure, scalable, governed solutions that create genuine business value.

Joining a rapidly expanding AI practice within a global technology consultancy, you'll play a pivotal role in defining how some of the UK's largest organisations adopt and scale AI. From Generative AI and autonomous agents to machine learning and enterprise data platforms, you'll be at the forefront of designing solutions that move beyond proof-of-concepts into real-world impact. This is an opportunity to influence strategy, shape architecture standards, guide technical delivery teams, and work directly with senior stakeholders who are investing heavily in AI transformation.

If you're looking for a role where you'll simply review diagrams and attend governance meetings, this isn't it. If you want to help define the future of enterprise AI while remaining close enough to the technology to influence how it's built, read on.

What You'll Be Doing

  • You'll own the end-to-end architecture of complex AI solutions, working across discovery, design, implementation and scale.
  • Lead the architecture of enterprise AI, Generative AI and Machine Learning solutions
  • Design intelligent agent frameworks and next-generation AI-powered applications
  • Define AI governance, security and Responsible AI standards
  • Advise executive stakeholders on AI strategy, feasibility and investment decisions
  • Support major client engagements from early discovery through to production deployment
  • Create reusable frameworks, accelerators and reference architectures
  • Guide engineering teams and provide technical leadership across multiple programmes
  • Help shape the future direction of a growing AI consulting practice

The Technology Landscape

You'll be working across a modern Microsoft-centric ecosystem including:

  • Azure AI Services
  • Microsoft AI platforms and tooling
  • Copilot Studio
  • Power Platform
  • Enterprise Data Platforms
  • Semantic Kernel
  • LangChain
  • Microsoft Agent Framework
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • LLM-powered applications and intelligent agents
  • MLOps, LLMOps and Cloud Native Architectures

What we're Looking For

You're likely already operating as an AI Architect, Lead AI Consultant, Principal Data Scientist, Principal AI Engineer or similar. You'll bring:

  • Significant experience delivering AI solutions within complex enterprise environments
  • Strong expertise across both Generative AI and traditional Machine Learning
  • Experience taking AI products from concept to production and ongoing operation
  • Deep understanding of LLM architectures, RAG patterns and agent-based solutions
  • Strong Azure and Microsoft ecosystem knowledge
  • Experience designing secure, scalable and governed AI platforms
  • Consulting experience with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders alike
  • The credibility to influence senior leaders and the technical depth to support delivery teams

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

AI is not a side offering here. It's a strategic growth area with significant investment, executive sponsorship and a strong pipeline of enterprise-scale transformation programmes. You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Work on genuinely complex AI challenges rather than isolated proof-of-concepts
  • Influence AI strategy across major organisations
  • Collaborate with some of the brightest AI, data and cloud specialists in the market
  • Continue developing your expertise through certifications, training and innovation initiatives
  • Enjoy the flexibility of remote working while remaining connected to a highly collaborative consulting culture

Additional Information

Salary: £95,000 - £105,000 Performance Bonus Comprehensive Benefits Package Remote Working (UK) Occasional Client Travel Must hold or be eligible for UK Security Clearance
