You'll lead a growing Data Science function responsible for delivering real-world AI, machine learning, and data science solutions across a complex professional services environment. The team is already delivering across machine learning, GenAI, document intelligence, search, retrieval, automation, and knowledge management. The next phase involves expanding AI capability, shaping a longer-term roadmap around emerging technologies such as Agentic AI, and driving adoption across the wider business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of Data Scientists and AI specialists
- Defining Data & AI strategy and technical direction
- Designing and delivering Machine Learning, NLP, GenAI, and RAG-based solutions
- Working directly with senior business stakeholders and clients
- Translating complex technical concepts into clear business language
- Driving delivery of AI products from concept through to production
- Establishing governance, evaluation frameworks, and responsible AI controls
- Coaching and mentoring technical teams while remaining hands-on when required
