An established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is looking for an experienced Site Agent/Manager to join their team in Swindon.
Responsibilities for Site Agent/Manager:
- Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of projects across the Civils and Water sectors
- Lead a team of Sub Agents, Engineers, and Foremen to deliver work safely, without environmental incidents, and to the specified quality
- Produce and manage construction programmes, 2-week look-aheads, and procurement schedules
- Ensure production and implementation of Project Plans, RAMS, ITPs, and Waste Management Plans
- Maximise commercial performance, identify value engineering opportunities, and maintain commercial tension
- Produce accurate monthly reports internally and for the client, and chair weekly site meetings
- Represent the business in an ambassadorial capacity to customers, the public, and official bodies
- Ensure detailed site diaries and records are completed throughout
Essential Requirements for Site Agent/Manager:
- Proven experience as a Site Agent within civil engineering, delivering projects in a highly regulated environment
- Experience delivering clean and foul water projects within the water utilities sector
- Working knowledge of CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme
