Our client, a well-established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor, is looking to appoint a MEICA Estimator to support a diverse pipeline of infrastructure projects within the water and utilities sectors, on a permanent basis with flexible hybrid working option.

Responsibilities of MEICA Estimator:

  • Lead the preparation of detailed MEICA cost estimates using bottom-up methodologies
  • Develop and refine project scope in collaboration with engineering and bid teams
  • Contribute to technical submissions and tender strategies
  • Assess and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure best value
  • Prepare enquiries for materials, equipment and subcontract packages
  • Manage risk, value engineering and cost planning throughout the tender process
  • Support design development to ensure accuracy and completeness for pricing
  • Work closely with project, commercial and delivery teams to align programme, cost and methodology
  • Capture and analyse project feedback to improve future estimates
  • Promote innovative and efficient engineering solutions
  • Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Monitor project progress against tender assumptions during early delivery phases
  • Support health, safety and environmental best practice across all activities.
