HSE Manager in London

An established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is looking for an experienced HSE Manager to join their team in EastLondon.
Responsibilities for HSE Manager:
Provide consistent and accurate HSE advice to HSE Advisors and site teams across the region
Line manage and mentor HSE Advisors, supporting their professional development
Conduct regular site visits, detailed monthly HSE inspections, and audits
Lead and support accident and incident investigations, identifying root causes and producing reports within required timeframes
Produce and communicate HSE alerts and monthly regional HSE statistics, identifying trends and driving improvements
Attend client HSE forums and form collaborative relationships with client HSE management
Deliver awareness training and lead site standdowns
Support facilities management at regional company premises on HSE related matters
Promote occupational health and wellbeing across the region
Essential Requirements for HSE Manager:
NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum
CSCS Safety Professional Card
Sentinel PTS (Personal Track Safety)
London Underground Basic Track Awareness (LUL BTA)
Temporary Works Coordinator/Supervisor
Kelvin TOPSET or equivalent incident investigation training
Extensive HSE experience within a civil engineering environment
Experience supporting rail and London Underground projects with familiarity of Network Rail and LUL safety requirements
Temporary Works experience including management, inspections, audits, and assurance
Strong incident investigation, report writing, and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable:
IOSH or CEnv qualification
Working towards NEBOSH Diploma Level 6
Level 3 AET or PTLLS
