We are supporting a major infrastructure provider responsible for delivering critical water and wastewater projects. They are looking to appoint a Civil Engineer to contribute to a diverse programme of capital schemes. This role is also available on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities of Civil Engineer:
- Review and challenge project scopes to ensure solutions deliver the intended outcomes efficiently and effectively.
- Provide technical input across capital schemes, including the preparation of design drawings, CDM documentation, and detailed specification packs.
- Undertake technical assurance of designs and documentation produced by others.
- Support and mentor junior engineers, graduates, and apprentices to help develop their technical capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to secure necessary approvals.
- Conduct site visits, carrying out audits and offering guidance to delivery partners and contractors.
Requirements for Civil Engineer:
- HNC, HND, or Degree in Civil Engineering (or closely related discipline).
- Proven experience in a similar civil engineering role, with the ability to manage your own workload and deliverables.
- Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards, codes, and specifications.
