Our Client, a leading engineering and design consultancy, is seeking a Project Planner to join their team in Glasgow. This role is part of an expanding Power and Energy Solutions Practice, based in Glasgow, with a flexible approach to home and office working.
Responsibilities of Project Planner:
- Maintaining and updating project schedules in Primavera P6, including live updates during planning sessions.
- Collaborating with Project Managers and delivery teams to develop, manage, and optimise project timelines.
- Gathering progress data from teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure accurate reporting.
- Providing regular updates to project teams, senior management, and clients.
- Enhancing and implementing project control processes and tools.
- Developing Work Breakdown Structures and managing project baselines.
Required Experience for Project Planner:
- HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in the Power and/or Oil & Gas sectors.
- Knowledge of project lifecycles.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6.
- Experience with Earned Value Analysis.
- Passion for project controls and staying up to date with modern methods, data analytics, reporting, and automation.
- Strong attention to detail in both your work and reviewing the work of others.
- Skilled in leading schedule workshops with project teams and clients, making live updates accurately and efficiently.
- Strong numerical skills and the ability to present insights clearly, both verbally and visually.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
