This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Gluing Operator who is confident in setting up and running folder/gluer machines and is now looking to take the next step into a Technical Lead position. As a Gluing Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality carton production for the food industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate folder/gluer machines as an experienced Gluing Operator
- Prepare and make ready jobs to meet production requirements
- Monitor production output, ensuring quality standards are consistently met
- Complete production and quality control documentation accurately
- Perform routine machine maintenance and safety checks
- Work collaboratively with the team to maintain an efficient workflow
- Follow all Health & Safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Gluing Operator
- Strong knowledge of folder/gluer setup, operation, and troubleshooting
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
- Good understanding of Health & Safety practices
Shift Pattern:
- Alternating weekly shifts:
- Monday – Thursday: 14:00 – 22:30, Friday: 14:00 – 20:00
- Monday – Friday: 06:00 – 14:00
