A leading UK infrastructure organisation is seeking an experienced Lead ECC Project Manager to join their team in Peterborough/Norwich and play a key role in delivering a major capital investment programme. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll drive contract, commercial, and assurance management of NEC3 ECC & PSC contracts across strategic Tier 1 delivery partners. You'll oversee a diverse portfolio of projects valued between £1.5m and £50m, leading day-to-day ECC Project Management teams while embedding best practice and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities of Lead ECC Project Manager:

  • Lead contract management and administration of NEC contracts across Tier 1 Alliance partners
  • Implement contract management strategies, assurance frameworks, and change control processes
  • Oversee project performance, governance, and reporting across the portfolio
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and development to a team of ECC Project Managers
  • Foster collaborative working and promote commercial awareness across supply chain
  • Embed health, safety, and environmental priorities through active leadership

Experience Required for Lead ECC Project Manager:

  • Degree-qualified in construction, engineering, or similar
  • NEC Project Manager accreditation (NEC3 or NEC4)
  • Strong experience managing NEC contracts on construction or infrastructure projects
  • Proven team leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Commercially aware with solid understanding of contract administration and change control
  • Confident working across complex, multi-party delivery environments
