An established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities of Contracts Manager:

  • Ensure projects are planned and programmed to the level of detail required for site teams to deliver without delays.
  • Monitor project resources, challenge overspend, and identify efficiencies to improve programme and margin.
  • Ensure commercial plans and end-of-life forecasts are in place and monitored monthly.
  • Review CVRs monthly with project teams and implement necessary actions.
  • Review and challenge project teams on Cost Plans, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure correct commercial engagement of subcontractors and compliance with commercial policies.
  • Produce and analyse progress reports, updated costs, and forecasts.
  • Manage both temporary and permanent design to meet project requirements.
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure direct workforce is allocated in line with programme.
  • Set the highest standards of HS P6 an advantage.

Desirable: CEng MICE or equivalent, NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
