Job Description
Job Title:
11 Plus Tutor (Part-Time, In-Person Required)
Must visit one of the following locations for tutoring (choose one option):
- Leigh-on-Sea (SS9 3PJ) – Any two days in the evening (2 hours per day)
- Barking (IG11 8EQ) – Saturdays only, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions for students preparing for the 11 Plus exam.
- Cover key subjects including English, mathematics, verbal reasoning, and non-verbal reasoning.
- Provide personalized support to help students develop essential skills and strategies for exam success.
- Create engaging and interactive learning experiences tailored to the student’s needs.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Must be able to attend tutoring sessions at Leigh-on-Sea or Barking (IG11 8EQ) as per the required schedule.
- Strong understanding of the 11 Plus exam structure and content (training will be provided).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage students effectively.
