Salary: 53,688 + Package
Hybrid: 3 days per week | Must reside within 1hr 30mins hour of Stafford
Staffordshire Police are seeking an experienced Developer to join their Digital, Data, and Technology (DDaT) team on a permanent basis. This team is at the forefront of transforming and supporting all digital technology needs across the force.
As a Developer your responsibilities will include but not limited to;
- Responsible for end to development lifecycles, i.e Design, build and support of developed solutions including Peer review and QA.
- Management of code repositories (IDE) ensuring version control and good release management
- Responsible for development in well-established Languages (C#, Java, dot.Net etc) or low and no code solutions
- Scrutinise and enhance the integration design between applications for all software solutions delivered by Technology Services;
- Fully contribute to any impact assessment process to provide SME input on proposed initiatives;
- Seek to continually propose new integration solutions which provide increased efficiency and business effectiveness through data transformation between interfaces;
As a Developer you will have experience in:
- Extensive experience in IT, with a focus on implementing the latest integration technologies.
- Strong ability to identify and maximize integration opportunities.
- Proficient in presenting complex technical concepts in clear and concise executive summary reports.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization techniques and systems integration.
- Solid understanding of enterprise-grade IDEs, such as Visual Studio.
- Proven track record of driving change and successfully delivering systems integration projects.
- Strong working knowledge of databases and infrastructure technologies.
- Experience in software development within NICHE or similar systems.
- Expertise in application engineering.
