Are you a senior technical specialist who thrives on more than just "fixing tickets"? We are looking for a proactive IT Infrastructure Engineer to join the team. This isn't just a maintenance role; you will be the backbone of the infrastructure development and support, ensuring our systems are high-performing, secure, and aligned with the future IT roadmap. The Role
- Infrastructure Excellence: Providing expert support for hardware, software, and network issues while resolving complex technical escalations.
- System Administration: Performing regular maintenance, including updates, backups, and security checks, to ensure systems operate at peak efficiency.
- Modernisation and Deployment: Assisting with the configuration and deployment of new technologies and systems in line with the IT roadmap.
- Asset and Documentation Management: Maintaining accurate records of changes and managing the asset register within the helpdesk system.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying areas for system optimisation and staying updated with the latest technology trends and advancements.
What We're Looking For
- Enterprise Systems Pro: You have excellent working knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, and Windows Server.
- Virtualization and Cloud: You are proficient in VMware and SAN configuration, with great knowledge of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
- Process Driven: You have experience with ITSM tools and work in line with ITIL and security management best practices.
- Qualified Professional: You hold a degree in IT or Computer Science (preferred) and relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Windows Server Fundamentals.
