An established engineering organisation is seeking an FPGA Engineer to join its expanding technical team working on complex, high-reliability electronic systems.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of advanced embedded solutions across the full engineering lifecycle, including specification, implementation, integration, and verification.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary engineering group delivering technically challenging programmes in a highly structured and regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • FPGA development using VHDL and/or Verilog
  • Supporting system integration, testing, and verification activities
  • Collaborating with hardware, software, and systems engineers
  • Contributing to the development of complex embedded/electronic systems
  • Working within controlled engineering environments
Required Experience
  • Commercial experience in FPGA design and development
  • Strong digital design and debugging skills
  • Experience with industry-standard FPGA toolchains
  • Degree in Electronics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or similar
  • Comfortable working on complex engineering problems in structured environments
  • Must be eligible to obtain UK security clearance
