Job Description:

We are recruiting on behalf of a world-renowned software organisation who are looking for a Global Payroll Manager who will support the organisation on a journey as they transition to a global team collaborating with both local and international team members.

Role: Global Payroll Manager

Location: Newcastle, Hybrid 3 days on site

Day Rate: £63,000 – £75,000 per annum

Description:

While the main focus for the Global Payroll Manager will be on the UK, Ireland, and South Africa payroll, you\’ll also be responsible for managing a team of 4 payroll analysts. The Global Payroll Manager will be a strategic person who isn\’t afraid to make changes and be a fresh set of eyes for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive performance and development of a 4-person payroll analyst team
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payroll fortheUK, Ireland and South Africa with your team.
  • Leveraging automation and tools to refine payroll operations.
  • Continuously working on process improvements and looking for automation opportunities.
  • Providing strategic oversight of global payroll functions.
  • Identifying and implementing enhancements.
  • Led global payroll operations using SAP across multiple regions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership skills within an enterprise environment
  • Strong background in running and processing payroll
  • UK and Ireland payroll experience needed; global payroll experience is a big plus
  • The ability to automate processes
  • Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience.
