Job Description:
- Role: Delivery Manager
- Rate: £520 per day (Inside IR35)
- Location: Hybrid (3 days per month on site across Manchester, Leeds, or Newcastle)
- Clearance: Basic BPSS Required
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to lead and protect a motivated, multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will own the end to end delivery process, maintaining iterative delivery plans while actively managing risks, dependencies, budgets, and team dynamics to keep projects moving forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Build, protect, and support a high-performing multidisciplinary team.
- Iterative Planning: Create and maintain robust, adaptable delivery plans aligned with broader organisational goals.
- Risk and Dependency Management: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate delivery risks, blockers, and external dependencies.
- Commercial and Budget Oversight: Manage delivery budgets and work closely with third-party suppliers to ensure value and quality.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain clear, transparent communication across all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven background in Agile IT delivery and applying Lean/Agile techniques in complex environments.
- Strong track record of maintaining delivery momentum and removing team friction.
- Exceptional stakeholder communication and relationship management skills.
- Hands-on experience with supplier management and vendor integration.
- Must hold or be eligible to obtain BPSS Clearance .
Desirable Skills
- Scrum Certification (e.g., CSM, PSM).
- Practical experience with AWS cloud environments.
- Background in connectivity testing and management .
