Digital Architect
£500 - £550/day inside IR35
Location: London (preferred) or Woking
Travel Requirements: Up to 2 days a week.
Mandatory: SC Clearance eligibility.
The Mission: Lead the architectural evolution of a complex domain cluster by mapping distributed systems, establishing data governance, and closing reliability gaps.
Core Responsibilities:
- Document as-is topologies and service catalogues.
- Manage data ownership registers and ADRs.
- Conduct efficacy scoring (RAG) and SLO gap analysis for target designs.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Distributed Systems/Microservices and Cloud-Native design.
- Expertise: DDD (Bounded Contexts), Resilience Patterns, and Observability.
- Reliability: Strong grasp of SLO/SLI concepts and availability modeling.
- Preferred: Energy sector experience (Balancing/Trading platforms).
Essential Skills: Stakeholder management, architectural assessment frameworks and diagramming.
