The Opportunity
We are looking for a high-caliber Agentic Tech Lead to drive the engineering delivery of a cutting-edge agentic AI platform. This isn’t just about prompt engineering; it’s about building robust, end-to-end systems that operate within the rigorous guardrails of a highly regulated environment. As the primary technical driver, you will bridge the gap between ambitious product goals and production-grade reality. You’ll be hands-on across the stack from AWS Bedrock and Python services to complex React integration ensuring that "agentic" translates to "value-driven" for our customers.
The Technical Requirements
- Core Stack: Expert-level proficiency in React, Python, and AWS Bedrock.
- AI/Agentic Mastery: Deep, practical experience building agentic systems and orchestration concepts.
- Regulated Environments: Proven track record in sectors like FinTech, Gov, or Healthcare.
- Full-Stack Fluency: Ability to navigate APIs, cloud infrastructure, and frontend integrations seamlessly.
- Delivery Leadership: Strong experience leading engineering delivery on complex platforms.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead Delivery: Coordinate frontend, AI, cloud, and QA activities to ensure a predictable, high-quality release cycle.
- Bridge Product and Engineering: Collaborate with Product Managers and Architects to translate ambiguous goals into concrete, deliverable backlogs.
- Own the Core: Take ownership of the implementation of core platform mechanics and technical risks.
- Problem Solve: Act as the primary escalation point, maintaining momentum through early-stage scoping and high-ambiguity phases.
- Set the Standard: Implement best-in-class engineering practices, including CI/CD, maintainable codebases, and rigorous testing suitable for financial services.
- Mentor and Coach: Technically guide a team of engineers, upskilling them in agentic systems and production-grade AI delivery patterns.
£600.00 - £650.00 / day
