Key responsibilities
- Lead strategic client relationships, acting as senior day-to-day contact across client accounts
- Create and shape media responses by setting the strategic marketing direction, overseeing planning timelines and working with specialists across digital and offline channels to encourage strong cross‑channel thinking
- Coach, mentor and lead your team by example, responsible for full people management and growth
- Report into the leadership team on a day-to-day client basis, as well as strategically identifying new growth opportunities for the group and commercial delivery and profitability
- Be an integral part of the wider group and local team by encouraging best in class marketing, whilst looking at practical tools and ways of working to encourage collaboration and productivity
Key qualifications
- Previous media planning experience gained within a media agency, ideally at Account Director level
- Someone who has prior experience of leading sizable client budgets and first‑class media planning expertise
- Confidence and experience using key planning tools, plus practical application
- A real people person, someone who can do more than manage day-to-day and instead coach and mentor teams and the wider business
