We’re looking for a strategic and hands‑on Operations/Resources Director with a background in marketing agencies or creative studios to join a leading agency for a 12‑month maternity cover. You will ensure the smooth running of the business during a period of growth, driving operational excellence while maintaining a people‑first culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver the agency’s operational strategy in line with business goals.
- Oversee financial processes, forecasting and reporting with the finance and accounts teams.
- Identify efficiencies across resourcing, systems and workflows.
- Support profitability and commercial insight across client accounts.
- Manage the Operations Co‑ordinator and HR processes (contracts, onboarding).
- Champion company culture, wellbeing, DEI and sustainability initiatives.
- Oversee internal systems, workflow and financial operations with creative teams.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in operations, resource or commercial leadership within a creative or marketing agency.
- Strong financial and strategic planning skills; commercial acumen.
- Experience of using tech tools for financial and planning systems.
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of AI, ideally with relevant qualification.
- Excellent people‑management and communication skills.
