Talent Hub has been appointed to find a talented CMO with a background in FMCG, to join an exciting start–up. The team behind this exciting venture have been at the top of their game and have incredible industry knowledge and funding.
We are now looking for a visionary and dynamic Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to play a critical role in the creation, strategy, and launch of 2 new brands. This is an exciting opportunity to define and shape the identity, positioning, and market presence of two innovative brands from the ground up, ensuring their successful entry and growth in the UK and beyond.
Key Responsibilities for this CMO job include:
- Lead the development of brand identities, positioning, and strategies for the new brands, ensuring alignment with the company’s sustainability and innovation ethos.
- Design and implement comprehensive marketing plans, encompassing digital, PR, retail activation, and influencer campaigns, to support the launch and growth of 2 new brands.
- Define compelling brand narratives tailored to the distinct target audiences of the specialty D2C channels.
- Collaborate closely with creative and consumer research agencies to ensure the brands resonate with their intended markets.
- Develop consumer acquisition and retention strategies, with a focus on subscription models, loyalty programs, and customer lifetime value.
- Drive digital marketing efforts, including SEO, PPC, social media, and email campaigns, to build brand awareness and drive conversions.
- Build and maintain partnerships with retailers, influencers, and sustainability advocates to amplify brand visibility and credibility.
For this CMO you should have:
- Ideally 10+ years in marketing leadership roles, with proven success as a CMO or senior marketeer in FMCG, food, or sustainable product sectors.
- Demonstrated experience in brand creation, strategy, and successful market launches.
- Expertise in both retail and D2C environments, including launching and scaling brands.
- Strong digital marketing expertise, including e–commerce, subscription models, and loyalty program management.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast–paced start–up environment.
