The Job Role

  • A Sous Chef to support the Executive Chef to manage the kitchen activities including overseeing staff, assisting with menu creation, ordering, rotas etc
  • A Sous Chef to help support with the managing and recruiting of all new kitchen team members.
  • A Sous Chef that has the ability to self manage whilst supporting and training more junior members of the brigade
  • You will maintain meal quality and consistency by following designated recipes for the venue

The Requirements

  • A proven track record within a fresh food operation.
  • A proven track record with leading a team.
  • A Sous Chef with a background in hotels, gastro pubs or restaurants.
  • The Sous Chef will have an understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
  • Good literacy skills, verbal written and spoken
  • A team player who leads from the front.
