JOB DESCRIPTION
- The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering multiple concurrent construction and technology infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. This role oversees field technicians, coordinates subcontractors and vendors, manages materials and schedules, and serves as a key communication bridge between internal teams and clients.
- This role is critical to supporting rapid company growth. The company has more than doubled revenue over the past three years and is entering a period of high-volume project execution. As project demand continues to scale, the Project Manager will play a key role in bringing structure, scalability, consistency, and process discipline to an expanding portfolio of active projects. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-growing environment and enjoys building repeatable systems while executing in real time.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Manage a portfolio of 20β30 concurrent construction projects, with typical project values ranging from $500K to $2M+.
- Plan, track, and execute project schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
- Ensure correct materials are ordered, delivered, and available on-site according to project timelines.
- Assign, task, and schedule field technicians based on estimated hours, productivity, and project priorities.
- Oversee jobsite coordination, including subcontractors and external vendors.
- Maintain regular communication with internal teams and clients to provide updates and resolve issues.
- Utilize Fieldwire for drawings, task management, and jobsite coordination.
- Track budgets and estimated hours using JetBuilt and related tools.
- Coordinate with external partners using platforms such as Procore and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Conduct site visits as needed based on project requirements.
- Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards.
- Act as a team-first leader for field technicians, providing clarity, direction, and support.
- Adapt to changing priorities and ambiguity in a fast-growing, high-volume environment.
- Help define, document, and improve project management processes, workflows, and reporting standards as the department scales.
- Bring structure, consistency, and repeatability to project execution in a high-growth environment.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3β5+ years of construction Project Management experience.
- Proven experience managing multiple concurrent construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction operations and jobsite workflows.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and field teams.
- Hands-on experience using Fieldwire.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a flexible, fast-paced, and growth-oriented environment.
- Comfortable balancing structure with adaptability.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with low-voltage systems, structured cabling, fiber, or access control projects.
- Electrical contracting or General Contractor (GC) background.
- Experience using Procore or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Experience with JetBuilt for budgets and estimated hours.
- Strong process-oriented mindset.
EDUCATION
- No strict degree requirement. PMP certification preferred. Six Sigma certification is a plus.
COMPENSATION PACKAGE
- Base Salary: $60,000 - $70,000
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Hybrid and highly flexible work model.
- Typically 70% onsite - 30% remote, with flexibility to shift to 50/50 or fully remote in certain weeks based on project load.
- Site visits required as needed. Standard construction hours, with flexibility expected depending on jobsite and project demands.
- Candidates must live within approximately one hour of Lewes, Delaware. No relocation assistance provided.
