We’re working with an established and growing food manufacturing business in Wednesbury who are looking for a Stock Controller to join their site-based operations team. This is a hands-on role combining stock control, warehouse operations and administration. You’ll play an important part in maintaining accurate stock levels across the business and ensuring day-to-day stock movements are recorded and managed correctly.
The role will include:
- Completing weekly, monthly and ad hoc stock counts
- Supporting month-end stock counts
- Investigating stock discrepancies and processing adjustments
- Managing goods-in activity and warehouse transfers
- Monitoring short-date stock and supporting stock rotation
- Reporting damaged goods and customer returns
- Maintaining accurate stock documentation and reports
- Working closely with warehouse, supply chain and operational teams
- Using MRP and stock management systems
- Supporting external warehouse stock audits where required

- Previous experience within stock control, warehousing or a similar environment
- Experience using MRP or stock management systems
