6 month temporary contract for a project based in North West London
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Specifications Product Technologist working in the food sector, looking for a project based role.
Our client are looking for an experienced Specification Technologist with knowledge of the
ALDI Product Portal (APP) to support an increase in product placement and product lifecycle management
- Collaboratively work with suppliers to ensure Product and Packaging Specifications are completed in a timely manner and with great accuracy.
- Use up to date material (food and packaging) specifications for spec population to generate customers (private label and non), own brand, managed brand, specifications and pack copies for respective clients’ accounts in line with existing and NPD’s company critical path.
- Maintain and update the internal specification system up to date and collaborate in developing new automated systems database.
- Maintain and update customer specification systems (example: ALDI..) set up for approval, with all the relevant technical information, in accordance with the customer requirements.
- Provide support and guidance to ensure food safety and product labelling compliance in accordance with regulations, customer and business requirements.
- Together with the Technical Manager, work closely with the marketing and NPD department to ensure that all specifications, pack copies, artworks and product labels are compliant with existing legislation and all requirements
This is an immediate opportunity for a period of 6 months.
