Our valued client, who are on a fast growth trajectory are hiring for a Sales Manager – Wholesale & Export in the apparel space. The position is a leadership opportunity, leading Field Sales (5), Wholesale Account Executive and International Distributors & Agents. This appointment will be working closely with the Managing Director and Finance Director to agree and deliver company sales objectives with close liaison across design, production, warehousing and marketing. Key duties/responsibilities: • Deliver sales results to meet / exceed the annual sales plan • Regular Business Reviews with each team member • Field accompaniments with independent and Key Account customers as appropriate • Regularly report on performance against target in all channels, reforecasting as required • Analyse sales data to inform decision making • Review field sales territories and stockist numbers • Attend trade/retail exhibitions • Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide information • Review international distributors and identify / onboard new distributors Specific requirements: • Successful track record of key account management and sales team leadership • Previously represented a Brand in a multi-channel environment • Excellent presentation, communication, and customer relationship skills • Ideally, but not necessarily, with previous experience of a fashion-led brand • Hands-on style. Comfortable in leading product sales presentations to key customers Reward package: • Salary guideline £65,000-£75,000 • 20% ‘on target’ bonus • Company vehicle or car allowance • Mobile, laptop • 22 days annual leave rising to 25 days after the qualifying length of service • Summertime leave early on Fridays • Clothing allowance
