p Talent Guardian is partnering with a growing FMCG business in the Wolverhampton area to recruit a National Account Manager. /p p br /p p This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven individual with grocery experience to manage key retail accounts, drive growth and build strong relationships with major UK retailers. /p p br /p p Reporting into senior leadership, youll take ownership of key customer relationships, identify new commercial opportunities and use data-led insights to drive sales and profitability. Working closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Operations, youll play a key role in delivering customer plans and supporting the continued growth of the business. /p p br /p p Key Responsibilities /p p br /p p Manage and develop relationships with major grocery retail accounts. /p p Deliver sales, revenue and profitability targets across your customer portfolio. /p p Lead annual business planning and joint business planning activities with retailers. /p p Identify opportunities for growth through range reviews, promotions, distribution gains and new product launches. /p p Analyse account performance and retailer data to identify trends, risks and opportunities. /p p Build and present compelling customer proposals and business reviews. /p p Negotiate trading terms, promotional plans and commercial agreements. /p p Work cross-functionally to ensure successful delivery of customer plans. /p p Develop account strategies that support both short-term performance and long-term growth. /p p Provide accurate forecasting and pipeline management. /p p Monitor market trends, competitor activity and category performance to drive strategic recommendations. /p p br /p p What Were Looking For /p p br /p p Proven experience as a National Account Manager or Senior National Account Manager within FMCG. /p p Grocery experience is essential. /p p Demonstrable experience managing and growing major retail accounts. /p p Strong relationship builder who enjoys developing partnerships rather than simply maintaining accounts. /p p Resilient and commercially focused with the ability to perform under pressure. /p p Positive, proactive approach with a glass half full mentality. /p p Strong commercial awareness and ability to spot opportunities for growth. /p p Excellent communication skills with the confidence to influence and challenge constructively where required. /p p Comfortable operating independently and taking ownership of customer relationships. /p p Strong presence and credibility when presenting to retailer buyers and senior stakeholders. /p p Technical Commercial Skills /p p Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and data analysis. /p p Strong understanding of retailer data and account performance metrics. /p p Ability to conduct gap analysis and identify commercial opportunities. /p p Highly analytical with the ability to convert data into actionable growth plans. /p p Confident creating customer presentations, performance reviews and commercial proposals. /p p Strong forecasting and planning capability. /p p Able to present complex commercial information clearly and confidently to both internal and external stakeholders. /p p br /p p Why Join? /p p br /p p Competitive salary package. /p p Car allowance. /p p Performance-related bonus. /p p Hybrid working model. /p p High-profile grocery accounts. /p p Opportunity to influence business growth and strategy. /p p Supportive and entrepreneurial culture. /p p Genuine career progression opportunities within a growing FMCG business. /p p br /p p If youre an ambitious Senior National Account Manager with grocery experience and a passion for building customer relationships, wed love to hear from you. /p p /p
