The Role

We\’re looking for a dynamic National Account Manager to develop and grow key retail accounts, while identifying new business opportunities to expand our impressive client portfolio. You\’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams and manufacturing partners to deliver category‑leading results and ensure our customers\’ strategies are brought to life.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and growing existing retail accounts while developing new business opportunities.
  • Creating and executing customer‑specific sales strategies and account plans.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment with customer objectives.
  • Monitoring performance against KPIs and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Leading and coordinating project milestones, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Driving innovation, profitability, and long‑term partnerships.

About You

You\’re an experienced National Account Manager within the FMCG sector (ideally within food), with a proven ability to maintain and grow strong customer relationships. You combine strong commercial acumen with the confidence to lead, influence, and deliver results.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years\’ experience managing national accounts, ideally with major UK grocery retailers.
  • Strong understanding of FMCG, retail, or food manufacturing environments.
  • Proven track record in private label or own‑brand product development.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.
