Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Location: Wendesbury Salary: up to £43k DOE Hours: 7am-4pm and 1pm-10pm Job Type: Full Time | Permanent Due to continued growth and investment, we are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our expanding engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a practical and proactive engineer to play a key role in maintaining and improving a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Working closely with the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for keeping plant, machinery and facilities running safely and efficiently through a combination of planned, preventative and reactive maintenance. The Role: As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will: Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance across plant, machinery and building equipment. Complete planned preventative and reactive maintenance, ensuring work orders are completed within agreed timeframes. Fault-find and repair a range of automated manufacturing equipment. Carry out electrical installations in line with current regulations. Support the installation, commissioning and maintenance of automated manufacturing equipment . Diagnose and resolve electrical control issues, including PLC fault-finding . Work with AC/DC drives, motors and pumps . Undertake mechanical repairs and support other engineering disciplines where required. Maintain and document preventative maintenance schedules using a CMMS . Identify recurring faults and proactively develop solutions to improve equipment reliability. Work independently and as part of a wider engineering team to achieve maintenance and production targets.
