Multi-Skilled Engineer
We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on engineer to keep facilities safe, efficient, and fully operational. You’ll take ownership of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring they run smoothly day after day.Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned maintenance to extend equipment life and reduce breakdowns
- Respond quickly to faults, diagnose problems, and deliver effective repairs
- Maintain key systems including heating, ventilation, boilers, pumps, and backup generators
- Manage urgent repairs to minimise disruption to daily operations
- Coordinate with contractors for larger works or new installations
- Keep accurate maintenance logs, equipment histories, and job records
- Uphold the highest safety standards at all times
Knowledge & Skills:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent ONC/BTEC) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Multi-skilled background, ideally gained in facilities management or building services
- Solid knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and general building systems
