Electrical Mechanical EngineerTalent Guardian are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Electrical Mechanical Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to play a key role in maintaining and improving a wide range of equipment and systems.The RoleAs an Electrical Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance as well as reactive repairs, ensuring that machinery and systems operate reliably and efficiently. You will diagnose faults, carry out repairs, support installations and contribute to continuous improvement projects. Working as part of a supportive engineering team, you will play a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly.Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical and mechanical planned and reactive maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve faults across machinery, systems and equipment
- Ensure all work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Support with the installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Maintain accurate records in line with compliance and reporting standards
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to identify improvements and reduce downtime
What We’re Looking For
- Recognised qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (apprenticeship, HNC, NVQ or equivalent)
- Strong hands-on experience across both electrical and mechanical systems
- Previous background in maintenance engineering within an industrial or technical environment
- Ability to fault-find, problem-solve and work well under pressure
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, flexible approach
