Job Description Multiskilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) Talent Guardian is recruiting on behalf of a well established food manufacturer in Wembley. We are looking for a Multiskilled Engineer with an electrical bias to join their engineering team on days. This is a hands on maintenance role on a busy, highly automated food production site. The shift Tuesday to Saturday, 07:00 to 16:30. 45 hour contract, fully site based in Wembley. Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across the production plant Recording all inspections, work carried out and faults found on the site CMMS Completing daily, weekly and monthly checks in and around the workshop areas Identifying cost effective improvements to site assets to lift efficiency and reliability Promoting health and safety and working to company policies and procedures throughout City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline At least two years in the FMCG or food manufacturing industry Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair experience in a heavy industrial or automated environment Hands on experience with food manufacturing equipment such as tray sealers (Proseal, PA), conveyors, mixers, can openers, oil depositors, vertical baggers, metal detectors, combi units, X-ray, labelling and date coding machines Confident with Excel and Word Analytical, self motivated and comfortable switching between tasks as production needs change You will report into the Engineering Manager and have real scope to suggest improvements rather than just react to breakdowns.
