Talent Guardian is recruiting a Junior Buyer for a large FMCG business in Enfield. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with some buying or admin experience who wants to grow within a supportive, well-established business.
The Role
This is a predominantly admin-focused buying role with real responsibility from day one. You will support the Senior Buyer with stock management, pricing, new product listings, and general buying administration — playing a vital part in keeping the range running smoothly across a 50,000+ product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out regular stock checks and raise purchase orders to replenish inventory
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date pricing records on the system
- Manage new product listings from start to finish including raising codes and inputting product data
- Flag pricing discrepancies and liaise with suppliers on outstanding orders
- Provide reliable day-to-day administrative support to the buying team
- Support the Senior Buyer with reports, correspondence, and meeting preparation
What We're Looking For
- Some experience in a buying, purchasing, admin, or supply chain role is desirable
- Highly reliable and dependable with strong attention to detail
- Well organised and able to manage a varied workload
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- A genuine team player who takes pride in accuracy and consistency
- Eager to learn and develop within a buying career
