Talent Guardian are recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing, international creative retail agency. This is a pivotal role within the business, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the finance function across the UK and US entities.

The Role
This hands-on role involves full ownership of financial management and reporting across multiple entities, ensuring robust controls, compliance, and the delivery of accurate, timely information to senior stakeholders. You’ll act as a trusted business partner, providing financial and operational insight to support continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of all accounting across the business – the key point of contact for all finance matters
- Manage transactional processing, monthly management reporting, and year-end accounts
- Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with UK and overseas regulations
- Partner with directors and non-finance teams to provide commercial and strategic insight
- Deliver accurate, fit-for-purpose reporting for key stakeholders
- Drive process improvements and efficiencies across finance operations
- Support business growth by offering data-driven recommendations and analysis
Key Skills and Experience
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA) with several years’ post-qualification experience
- Strong technical accounting background with hands-on experience across the finance cycle
- Excellent knowledge of UK VAT (essential) and overseas VAT (advantageous)
- Proven ability to communicate and influence effectively across all levels
- Commercially astute with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using Xero (and related applications)
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency across Microsoft Office
- Ideally trained in practice, with experience in an owner-managed business operating across multiple jurisdictions
